Results of 2023 Mathematical Contest in Modeling have been announced recently. J-BJIers awarded 1 Finalist, 3 Meritorious Winners and 11 Honorable Mentions.
Mathematical Contest in Modeling(MCM) and Interdisciplinary Contest in Modeling(ICM) were founded by the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics in 1985. MCM/ICM plays an important role in cultivating students’ innovative consciousness, creative ability and teamwork spirit, becoming the most influential undergraduate discipline innovation competition in the world.
The 2023 MCM/ICM attracted numerous renowned universities from 21 countries and regions like America, England, Canada and Australia. A total of 20,858 teams (11,296 teams for MCM and 9,562 teams for ICM) attended the competition, from Columbia University, Duke University, New York University, King’s College London, Tsinghua University, Peking University, Xi’an Jiao Tong University, ect. Facing strong opponents, J-BJIers spared no efforts and gave a good account of themselves. Congratulations to our winners!
